Aims & Objectives

The aim of Odanadi UK is to raise the profile of, and funds for, Odanadi India and to raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking more generally. In particular, it seeks to generate income by signing up regular individual donors to provide unrestricted funding that can be used by Odanadi to develop its infrastructure. In addition to the development of a committed donor base, fundraising priorities include:

  • the identification of capital funding for the development of the boys home
  • raising the salary costs for psycho-sexual therapeutic support and a project co-ordinator

Odanadi UK's objectives are to prevent, tackle and eliminate human trafficking and sexual exploitation, and to relieve the suffering of the victims by:

  1. providing practical support and assistance via partner organisations.
  2. raising awareness of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in particular the consequences for, and needs of, victims.
  3. undertaking research into the causes and effects of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and disseminating the results.
