Odanadi UK

Odanadi UK

Odanadi UK seeks to support and nurture indigenous, grassroots approaches to prevent human trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation, domestic servitude and bonded labour. It is essential to work directly in communities to disrupt the networks and relationships that make trafficking possible.

Odanadi UK was established to provide practical support to its Indian counterpart Odanadi, which works for the rescue, rehabilitation and empowerment of the victims of human trafficking. Our vision is to 'support Odanadi to end human trafficking and to empower and rehabilitate those affected'.

The close relationship between the two organisations offers donors and supporters the opportunity to provide direct assistance to those women and children whose lives have been affected by trafficking. One of the ways it will do this is to raise money through donations - 100% of which will reach Odanadi.  Odanadi, with their knowledge and experience of how to best tackle human trafficking, will be given complete discretion as to how to use these funds.

Odanadi UK recognises that whilst its primary concern is to support Odanadi and tackle human trafficking in India, the issue of trafficking - particularly for sexual exploitation - is of increasing concern globally.
